Terms
In short
- Tickets are free. One per player, by email straight away.
- Everyone plays every game, and the top get podium'd.
- You can chip in €10 to €50 to support the day. It's optional.
- Teams and match-ups are drawn at random on the day.
Games Day is organised by Andee, a private individual in Ireland. It's a games day between friends on Saturday 17 October 2026 in Dublin.
Get in touch at hello@playgamesday.com or write to Dublin.
- Tickets are free. Every player needs their own ticket, and you can get tickets for other people in the same order.
- Your ticket gets you into Games Day, lets you play every game you choose to.
- We email your tickets as soon as you register. Each ticket has a personal pass link: keep it to yourself, because it's how the app knows who you are.
- On the day, other players see your preferred name and the country you chose. They never see your legal name or email.
- After registering, you can choose to chip in €10 to €50 towards the food and running of the day. It's entirely optional and doesn't change your ticket or your chances of winning.
- You can send your contribution through Revolut, straight to Andee, or pay by card through our payment provider, Stripe. Card payments get a receipt on screen straight away.
- A contribution is a gift to help the organisers put on the day, not a payment for a ticket or a service, so it isn't refunded unless you paid by mistake or we cancel the event. The refund policy has the details.
Teams and opponents are drawn at random on the day from the players who have checked in. The organiser may swap players to keep games fair or to fit late arrivals.
Email us and we'll cancel your ticket, or give it to a friend by changing the name.
If we have to cancel Games Day, we refund every contribution in full. If we change the date and you can't make the new one, you can have your contribution back too. We'll tell you about any change of time or venue by email.
- Play fair, look after each other and follow the organiser's instructions.
- Under-18s must come with an adult on the same order.
- Some games are physical. Take part at a level that's comfortable for you.
Photos may be taken on the day and shared with the group. Tell the organiser if you'd rather not be photographed.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Otherwise, our liability to you is limited to the amount of any contribution you made.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts deal with any dispute.
